The Vienna Circle

Vienna keeps circling back to this shape. The streets themselves loop around the old city and return to where they started. A century ago, a group of thinkers met the same way around one table, again and again, calling themselves a circle before we ever existed. We didn't invent the pattern. We just found our place in it.

Because in the end, a good frame doesn't mean much if there's no one around to notice it or to give you their honest opinion on it over coffee. OROREGARD was always less about the object itself and more about who's sitting across from you when you wear it.

You don't build a brand around a product. You build it around trust and good people.

Still, not silent.
Room to talk.

This is what we mean by circle not a shape on a map, but a room like this one, where a handful of people around a table say more in one evening than a feed says in a year. Vienna has always built inward this way: a Ringstrasse instead of a straight road, a cellar instead of an open floor, walls that hold a conversation rather than let it drift. We build for the same kind of room.

Vienna, somewhere between day and evening.

We wanted to show Leopold PRESTON before anyone else saw it but he had his own idea. Come to the house, he said, and bring nothing but time. So that's where the afternoon happened: the garden gate left open, tea going cold on the table, his dog following him from room to room like it does every day.

There was no shot list, no backdrop, no one checking the light. We sat outside longer than we meant to, talked about things that had nothing to do with glasses at all. What's left from that day is one photograph Leopold and his dog, exactly as they were and a memory neither of us quite managed to put into words afterward.
